Role Purpose
As the face of The Landing Place, the Waiters and Waitresses are responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences, offering a memorable and efficient table service and ensuring our guests savour every moment spent with us. Sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with our guests while giving a warm welcome every time, and maintaining a beautifully pristine environment even during busier times.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming and greeting customers.
Taking orders, running food & drinks and managing tables
Handling cash & other forms of payment
Making sales transactions - using a handheld system
Answering questions - accurately and politely
Satisfying any/all needs of the customer - checking back throughout their experience and taking action to correct any problems
Maintaining a clean & organised venue – including pre-laying tables & table maintenance.
Performing opening, closing & side duties – setting up & breaking down restaurant, refilling condiments, cleaning cutlery, completing H&S checks etc.
Requirements / Experience
Have a friendly, problem-solving attitude.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Delivers consistent high standards, with the ability to maintain these at pace during busy periods
Passionate about exceeding our customers expectations.
A committed team player being flexible, enthusiastic and collaborative.
